Inspiration: I know an extremely intelligent man who thought he could manage his life on his own.  His intelligence often blocked his ability to grasp faith.  Later on in his life, when going through a crisis, he came to God with child like faith and committed his life to Jesus Christ.  He first had to humble himself to see his need for Jesus Christ as he had so much self pride!
