Inspiration: Some nations were founded on Christian principles, but over the decades, leaders and luke-warm Christians have set their own standard of righteousness causing people to fall away from God.  Christians need to run for leadership positions as God directors so the nation can do righteous actions.    One Bible teacher put it this way:  “Pray for your leaders that they would have the fear of God in them and encourage Christians to run for public office.  Pray for the churches that they would become like the church in the first century preaching faith from God in the Holy Scriptures.”    This teacher also said that Christians need to repent of their sins and their forefather’s sins and dedicate their nation to God.
